Musical Freestyle Grand Champion!

Terra and I complete Our Musical Freestyle Grand Champion title!

For November 5th and 6th, Terra, Ringo, and I packed up and went to Syracuse for the "Muttly Masquerade" live freestyle event. It was a small, very friendly show that was held in a beautiful training facility at the Syracuse Obedience Training Club.

Terra performed her classic Seneca Square Dance routine in the InSync division, earning the last legs for her InSync Novice title, and moving up to intermediate. InSync is heelwork-to-music, where your dog must stay very close to your body at all times.

In the Musical Freestyle Division, Terra finished the last leg of her Grand Champion title on Saturday with a 95/100, and did a fabulous encore presentation on Sunday earning a 97/100. She finished the weekend earning High Scoring Freestyle Award, High Scoring InSync Award and High Combined Scores. What a dog! I'm so very proud of her; we've worked very hard to get this point. She brought tears to my eyes!

We are going to keep dancing, since we love it so much. We will continue to perform our Car Wash routine, hopefully to earn her Encore Grand Champion title.

I'm also proud of my little Ringo-dingo boy! He worked hard, earning two qualifying legs toward his Novice title, with two 1st places. He also was awarded a judge's choice award! Probably because he is so good at flirting with the judge while he's i…

I'm also proud of my little Ringo-dingo boy! He worked hard, earning two qualifying legs toward his Novice title, with two 1st places. He also was awarded a judge's choice award! Probably because he is so good at flirting with the judge while he's in the ring! He really can't resist an audience. Lol

There will be a live freestyle competition in April at PCOTC, and we can't wait!!!
